Spiders never if ever get to be not evil in fiction, the only times I can think of in fiction a Charlotte's Web, James and the Giant Peach and A Bug''s Life. WARNING: Arachnophobia mode in the game has been turned off for this video so if you do not like spiders you may not want to watch. What people forget is that positive portrayals of these animals in fiction can help in making them less scary and more accepted, it's happened before like with Preying Mantises, Bats, Toads/Frogs, Owls etc. The whole game is in 'creative mode', there's no other modes here as resources ARE infinite.

Sharks are probably the worst suffering for this in recent times but it happens so often like how Lions were wiped out in Europe in ancient times and yes, Spiders get this too much. Yes (Kind of): Play through to end game and automate everything in the game and then you have infinite resources and you are free to build anything your mind can come up with. I can understand having an irrational fear of something, I have those myself (not animal related though), that fear turning into hate, animal cruelty and killing is where I cross the line though and the media is VERY guilty of encouraging this. That being said, media does affect our perceptions and can cause more fear for what are just beings living their lives, with more to fear from us then we do of them. I want to see more variety no less which one of the big reasons I've been disappointed a bit with Resident Evil monsters since 7, their nearly all just humanoid and that's dull to me. While I can see a few games doing this, I admit I wouldn't want all games doing this, I love animals, vertebrates and invertebrates alike and their are so many of the latter are ignored when they have so much potential for fantasy like the Enypniastes, Sea Cows, Water Bears, all the other species of Mantis besides the preying ones, Millipedes, Sea Angels, Squids, Mantis Shrimp, Earwigs etc.
